- 1). Place the Crossfire on a table with the barrel facing right. Remove the screws surrounding the side of the Crossfire, using a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the screw from the other side of the bullet holder at the front bottom of the Crossfire. Place the screws in a coffee cup to keep them from getting lost.
- 2). Remove the screws from the orange cylinder and the rod it is attached to,using the Phillips screwdriver. Pull the orange cylinder and the rod it is attached to out of the bottom section and place it on the table.
- 3). Grip the peg inside the orange cylinder with a pliers. Twist the peg to release it from the cylinder. Pull the peg out. Remove the screw from the back end of the cylinder, using the screwdriver. Pull the rod off the cylinder.
- 4). Drill a hole through the center of the cylinder, where the peg was inserted, using a power drill. Push the ring at the back of the cylinder off, using your fingers. Place the rod back into the back of the cylinder. Reattach the screw.
- 5). Place the cylinder and rod back into the bottom section of the Crossfire. Place the top section back on the Crossfire. Reattach the screws.
