It has often been said regarding new innovations in technical fields that there is very little advances in what is actually new.
What is meant by that, of course, is that somewhere, sometime, along the era of revolutionary breakthroughs, an idea considered to be today's original concept has already been thought of.
This may be true about some things but not all.
For instance, the development on aviation, there are quite a lot of original inventions on military aircraft nowadays like the Apache Helicopter.
Military helicopters come in various designs and functionality and they are categorized according to their primary uses.
The classification of United States Military helicopters mostly used include A- attack, C- Cargo transport, H- search and rescue, R- reconnaissance, S - anti-submarine warfare, M- multi-mission, T- trainer and U- utility.
The AH-64 Apache helicopter belongs to the AH group which is known as the group of military attack helicopters and usually receive the highest amount of recognition.

It is a twin-engine and four-bladed helicopter with highly stable aerial weapons-delivery platform that is best for multi-mission attacks.
The Apache can carry 30mm cannon and either 16 HELLFIRE laser guided missiles or 76 70mm wrap-around fin aerial rockets (WAFAR) specifically for enemies' light armor vehicles and other soft skinned targets.

Army was able to test the latest version of AH-64, the AH-64D Apache Longbow.
The test showed that the latest version is 400 times accurate than the earlier versions of Apache.
No wonder the Apache helicopters are more lethal than other attack helicopters.
