    • 1). Prepare to write to separate writings. First will be a the sorry letter, and second will be a poem.

    • 2). Write the sorry letter. Make it as long as you feel you need, as long as it gets the point across. For some situations, a couple heartfelt sentences is perfect, while you may need to write a couple pages. Again, it all depends on how sincere you are about the apology.

    • 3). The sorry letter should include a paragraph as to the events that led to this point that made you need to write the sorry letter to your girlfriend.

    • 4). Write another paragraph that says your feelings as to why you needed to write this sorry letter. For example, if you are missing your girlfriends company, or perhaps are realizing that you are not as happy when you are without her.

    • 5). Write the last paragraph stating what you will do to make it up to your girlfriend, and tell her how much you look forward to the future with her. You want to give your girlfriend a lasting impression that this relationship means so much to you, that you truly love her, and that you are sorry.

    • 6). Finish the sorry letter with the most sincere 'I love you' and write your name in cursive.

    • 7). Create a poem or find a classical love poem. However, it is better to write your own poem, for itt shows to your girlfriend that you really took the time to show your feelings, and thus the girlfriend will greatly appreciate it.

    • 9). Place one rose on top. Try to use one rose, as too many roses will give your girlfriend an impression that you are trying to buy her an apology, and moreover it may seem too much.
