- 1). Click the "Contacts" icon on the right side of the AOL Mail screen. Click the distribution list name to open a message.
- 2). Click the "Bcc" link to the right of the "To:" field.
- 3). Right-click the list of email addresses in the "To:" field, then click "Select All."
- 4). Right-click the highlighted list of email addresses, and click "Cut."
- 5). Right-click the empty "Bcc:" field, then click "Paste." All of the email addresses are now private.
