But in His grace, we want to look at an Important area where every Christians should be careful of, and that is the area of 'your man of God, your ministers, your pastors...
The first Epistle of John chapter 4:1 says 'Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
Amen! One of the things the Bible point out for us to be careful with and test are SPIRITS.
The above scripture point to the fact that there are spirits, that its, not all spirit are of God, and why do we need to test all spirits (not some but all)? Because many of then have gone out into the world.
That takes me back to say that all men of God are and suppose to be spirit, but the questions is, how many of them or how can we know and test these spirits? Knowing that not every spirit who claims to be God's Spirit is of God will help us.
The Scripture says 'because many of them (false prophets, men of God) have gone out into the world.
Even the Disciples were afraid of spirits, in Luke 24:37 says 'but they were terrified and frightened, and suppose they had seen a spirit.
Note that when there is original, we must have the fake.
The syndrome of 'my man of God, my man of God' has eaten or is eating deep into Christendom.
Oh! My pastor says, I will do what my pastor says...

Many men of God have led their sheep astray (even in teaching) and sheep has allowed to be led astray by their shepherd.

Listening and seeing your pastor as your mentor is good but the truth is this 'many false prophets have gone out into the world.
We've seen and heard it in the time past about this Men of God, many Christians are suffering and have suffered in the hand of this so-called man of God.

I have seen people, Christians praying in the name of spirit (their man of God) that should be tested and careful of, some pray in the foundation of their church or ministry.
Through the Bibles history, no other name has been given to men, by which we can be save than the name of Jesus.
We are told to do all thongs in word and deed in the name of Jesus.
Why do you have to pray in have to pray in the name of a spirit (a pastor) or the foundation of a ministry? You have been redeemed; you have authority as a believer.
Get this, heaven knows you, your words are powerful, you are a king.
You will hear words like: I pray in the name of God of the Spokenword Ministries (that is the name of my ministry), I pray in the name of Pastor Moyo-Angel (that is my name), for goodness sake this is wrong.
Through the history of New Testament, we are thought to pray in Jesus' name.
Christians! Is wrong to pray in my name because am your pastor or minister, believers, it is wrong to pray in the name of my ministry because you are a member of my ministry.
It is absolutely wrong! Come to think of it, do you know such pastor or spirit Christianity background or his relationship with God, or is it because he performs miracles and teaches excellently, watch it, these are not enough.
Why do we have to pray in the name of the foundation of a ministry? Why do we have to imitate our man of God (even good or bad)? These are wrong! Some even speak, teach and dress like spirit, their man of God.
Watch the kind of spirit that mentors you.
