    Theater District

    • Boston is home to a number of downtown theaters. The Theater District is located just blocks from the Boston Common. It features a variety of Broadway shows on tour, ballets, operas, musicals or plays. The Theater District consists of the Orpheum Theatre, Boston Opera House, Colonial Theatre, Wang Theatre, Charles Playhouse and Wilbur Theatre. Since 1995, the Blue Man Group has performed at the Charles Playhouse. Most other performances are on limited runs, though visitors can find something on every night of the week.

    Boston Red Sox

    • The Red Sox play at the oldest American stadium still in use. Fenway Park is home to the "Green Monster" in left field and was opened in 1912. Most games throughout the baseball season take place in the evenings. The historical charm of the stadium combined with the dedicated fans called Red Sox Nation make this an enjoyable experience. The Red Sox have won the 2004 and 2007 World Series, which have made the tickets high-demand.
