bat press

Definition:

A bat press, or clamp, is used in table tennis to hold the rubbers onto the bat while the adhesive glue used to attach the rubbers to the blade is drying.
Bat presses are commonly used by players who speed glue their bats, and these players often return their bats to the bat press between matches, in the hopes that it will help slow down the rate of evaporation of the speed glue from the bat.

A bat press is usually just two square pieces of hardwood with butterfly screws at each corner, just big enough to fit the head of a bat.
