Self-confidence is one of those conditions that many persons seem to lack.
It appears to be a condition that shows up sometime during childhood.
It can become so chronic and debilitating it may earn the serious name of "inferiority complex"-- in which the victim unjustifiably believes that others are better than him or her in terms of being a human being.
On the other hand, what about those who exude self-confidence? I refer to those who are usually the top sales-men or women.
Or those persons whose speech and attitude captivate the hearer because of their self-confidence? I think that these persons can consider themselves blessed.
But don't get me wrong you cannot say that the victims of an inferiority complex are cursed! On the contrary, they apparent handicap can be turned into a blessing.
I think it is just a matter of self-awareness and attitude-- even if the turn-around process happens to be difficult or drawn-out.
In terms of finally reaching or understanding the Source of True self-confidence; the presence of self-confidence, paradoxically, can get in the way.
One may be tempted to think that human self-confidence is the highest form there is! But it is not so! In striving for ultimate excellence; and true self confidence one should always be confident that one's teacher is really qualified to impart special knowledge, wisdom and understanding.
Knowledge, wisdom and understanding that cannot be successfully challenged or contradicted.
In short, human or natural knowledge, if it is to be sustainable and useful to oneself and others, must be connected to the Source of Supernatural knowledge.
Supernatural knowledge that can only come through the help of God's Holy Spirit working in the life of even the imperfect Believer! This is a choice that any can make if he or she has not already done so.
It is also a choice that individuals can prove for themselves.
It is all about Ultimate Truth.
It is about the Christian Life.
It is guaranteed by God; the Creator of life and the Universe; His Son, Jesus Christ; and their Agent and man's Helper the Holy Spirit.
So what is the right angle of self-confidence? There is no denying that anyone who exercises confident in one's abilities is off to a good start! However, there must be a cushion for those moments when self-confidence fails; as it would, from time to time.
This is when, one would find, being connected to the Source of Supernatural Confidence, is The Right Angle Of Self-Confidence.
