To continue our discussion on the comparison between Amazon and eBay, here are the next focus points that we will look into.

Stability of the Site
Feedback
Promoting Yourself

* Stability of the site

When changes occur within the site and several factors are altered, this could affect the way you will operate your business. Both Amazon and eBay have taken steps into further improving their sites. Although, I also have to say that when it comes to credibility and trustworthiness, both sites are rock solid on these aspects. It is a good thing that they are constantly enhancing the site to protect the customers and the internet marketers. This could be an issue though, because some of the changes will also mean extra effort for the internet marketers to make sure that their online business will still operate smoothly.

* The Feedback Area

For both eBay and Amazon, the feedback process goes on. Even negative feedback is acceptable for both Amazon and eBay. When it comes to comments and feedback from the seller or the internet marketer, just like you, both sites only approve positive comments and feedback. Which is just fair since this will block the negative argument that some internet marketers may give when their product is being criticized.

* Promoting Yourself

As an internet marketer, you would not only want to sell your products, you also want to build your name and become popular online and be known as reliable and trustworthy when it comes to doing business through eBay and Amazon. Well, this can truly be beneficial for you and your business although with both eBay and Amazon, sometimes this is difficult.

With Amazon, there is a clear restriction when it comes to internet marketers who directly communicate and do business with customers who they came across with via this site.

eBay had an advantage when it came to this aspect because eBay was more lenient in allowing internet marketers to share details about themselves and their business. eBay was a venue not just for selling but also for promoting yourself and your business. You used to be able to earn from eBay and at the same time, establish your own business further by increasing your popularity. That was before. eBay has also changed the system and this has also been restricted.

So, on this aspect, both are just the same.

More to come on my next article in giving the pros and cons in both Amazon and eBay.
