Diabetes - The Talk of the World
Diabetes is the body condition in which there is the prevalence of high blood sugar in a person's body.
This happens if the body fails to produce the required amount of insulin the body requires or if the body cells fail to respond perfectly to the insulin produced in the body.
Diabetes can be classified into three types.
Type one is the condition in which the body does not produce insulin.
This type of diabetes is also known as the insulin dependent diabetes.
This type of diabetes can only be controlled by injecting the required amount of insulin.
Type one of diabetes mostly affect children where as it also can affect adults, but not in a higher percentage.
Type-2 of the diabetes is the condition during which the body cells fail to respond to the insulin produced in the body.
This is when the use of the produced insulin is rejected by the human body.
Type two of diabetes is mostly prevalent among adults.
Type three of diabetes is known as gestational diabetes which occurs during pregnancy.
The sudden increase of the glucose level in the pregnant woman causes this type of diabetes.
There are possibilities that the gestational diabetes can develop into a type-2 diabetes.
Diabetes should be viewed as a life style change and not as a disease.
It can never be cured completely but the effects can be minimized by the change in the life style of the person.
The main aim of the treatment for diabetes is to maintain the level of glucose in the body.
Exercise and the change in the diet of a person can be the best and the easy ways of controlling diabetes.
It is better if the diabetes condition is diagnosed in prior and the treatment is given in time.
The treatment should be continued life long for a better result.
