It is truly amazing how many laid-off people think that they are going to start an Internet business and make a lot of money.
Most of them have their hearts set on simply equaling their current salary by running some type of online business.
Unfortunately, the reality is that most people that start Internet type businesses actually end up losing money, or never really make very much at all.
Still, there are many "get rich quick schemes" online that promise people they can make money selling trinkets on the Internet.
The reality is that the only person that gets rich quick is the people selling these "get rich quick schemes" to unsuspecting and unknowing laid-off employees and consumers.
If you are going to write articles on Internet businesses for the general public, you need to explain to them the reality of these things.
You also need to help them understand how the Internet works, what the exact costs are, and the hard work it takes to build something up.
What I recommend is that you give real-life examples of startup entrepreneurs who have actually made money on the Internet, and also describe all the hard work it took to get there.
It also makes sense that you explain how little money they made when they first started and how long it took them to actually make a decent income.
If you do this you are doing a service to the Internet reader and general public and if you fail to do these things you are doing a disservice and you can actually cause people to lose money, and ultimately end up filing for bankruptcy.
Please consider all this.
