How to Unlock a Moto Razor
- 1). Find the phone number for your cell phone provider. You can locate the number on a recent cell phone bill.
- 2). Dial the phone number for your provider and ask to speak to a representative for technical support.
- 3). Explain to the representative that you have locked your Razor and you don't know or have forgotten the code to unlock it. After verifying your account, the representative may be able to walk you through the process to reset your phone and unlock it.
- 1). Find a remote unlocking service online to help you unlock your phone. There are two companies that can help unlock Motorola phones. They are Cell Unlock or Motorola Unlock Now. Both companies charge a fee.
- 2). Enter your cell phone's 15-digit identification number on the unlocking website. This number is located underneath the battery on the back of the phone. Every Moto Razor has its own ID number.
- 3). Enter the email address where you want the eight digit unlocking code sent.
- 4). Enter your credit card and billing address information to pay the unlocking fee.
- 5). Press "Send" to send the ID number and email to the company. It may take a day or two before you receive the unlocking code.
