- 1). Open the Bell combination lock with the original combination found with the packaging.
- 2). Turn the lock so the open end of the lock with the combination dials is facing you. You will see a red reset tab inside the top of the opening.
- 3). Press the red tab in and slide it downward until it clicks.
- 4). Twist the numbers into your new combination.
- 5). Pull the reset tab back up.
- 6). Close the lock. You can now unlock it with your newly set combination.
