Do you really enjoy stuffing a turkey? Do you look forward to a home full of people judging your every behavior? Do you find yourself having the extra drink or two just to cope with the family that feels compelled to mooch on you each year around the holidays?

I have a remedy. You don't have to labor in the kitchen for most of the day and then get involved in a major clean up operation after your last guests have left.

This is the year you should leave all the heavy lifting to the professionals.

Pack your bags and head to Las Vegas for the Thanksgiving holiday. This year The Venetian and The Palazzo will host a Thanksgiving Holiday Feast in the Palazzo waterfall atrium gardens. The Thanksgiving spread will encompass two 30 foot picnic style tables and a family style meal that will have you wanting to adopt Las Vegas as your new home for the holidays. The fall décor will set the stage for your Thanksgiving feast and Executive Chef Olivier Dubreuil will prepare a meal that will be paired with wines from Isabel Mondavi, Siduri and Santa Lucia Highlands. How easy is that?

While you enjoy Thanksgiving in Las Vegas you should also take advantage of the “Winter in Venice” festivities at The Venetian and the Palazzo.

The feast will include the following menu selections :

  • Champagne with cranberry juice and orange liquor
  • Ginger butternut squash soup with spicy pecan cream
  • Fresh tomato and corn soup with garlic and basil croutons
  • Pear, arugula and pancetta salad
  • Roquefort apple with ginger salad
  • Belgian endive and cranberry vinaigrette salad
  • Whole roasted Vermont turkey with sausage sage dressing
  • Whole roast big “Farcies”
  • Seared sea bass filet with shitake mushrooms and baby corn
  • Sweet potato soufflés
  • Fennel “au gratin” with pecorino and lemon
  • Yukon gold puree with rosemary butter
  • Stuffed onions
  • Traditional buttermilk biscuits
  • Artisan rolls
  • Zucchini cornbread
  • Pumpkin cheesecake with marshmallow sour cream
  • Caramel pumpkin pie
  • Blueberry crumble pie
  • Warm apple cobbler
  • Cherry tartlets
  • Profiteroles
Imagine just how easy Thanksgiving in Las Vegas can be. No clean up and a very comfortable bed for a nap after dinner in your suite at the Palazzo when you are done with your huge meal. While you are there you might as well fit in a spa treatment at The Canyon Ranch Spa and possibly a show? Either The Phantom Spectacular or Jersey Boys could be an option.
Tickets for the Thanksgiving Holiday Feast at The Palazzo are $100 for adults and $50 for children 12 and under. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at Venetian.com or any box office at the Venetian or the Palazzo. You can also call the Venetian box office ar 702.414.9000.

If you are looking for something more intimate select restaurants at the Palazzo and Venetian will offer special Thanksgiving menus to help you give thanks that you are in Las Vegas instead of shoveling the snow out of your driveway back home.
