Brandman University Online is a private non-profit institution catering exclusively to adult students, focusing on providing quality education that fits around busy lives. Originally founded for students in the military, Brandman’s courses are designed to help working professionals earn their degrees.


Online students study in a virtual learning environment, offering the opportunity to interact with classmates and professors. One-on-one academic coaching is available to ensure students stay on track. All student services can be accessed online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

All students and alumni have access to Brandman University Career Services, which offer a comprehensive set of resources, including webinars and workshops, to help Brandman students develop their careers.

Brandman University welcomes transfer students and provides a personal, tailored service to help students apply as many credits as possible towards their degrees.

Brandman University is part of the Chapman University System, which centers on Chapman University, one of California’s oldest and most prestigious universities.

Brandman University is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC), which is recognized by the United States Department of Education as a regional accreditation body. All of Brandman University’s programs are accredited by the WSCUC.

Admissions

In order to apply for an undergraduate course, students must have at least 12 transferable baccalaureate-level credits and a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. An application must be submitted online and official transcripts sent to the university.

Applicants for graduate courses must fulfill the specific requirements of their programs, submit an application online and send official transcripts to the university. They may also need to complete entry exams.

Interesting Fact

Brandman University was founded in 1958 as an off-shoot of Chapman University catering specifically for students serving in the military. Today, Brandman is a separate university within the Chapman System, catering for both military and civilian students.
