• Sihanoukville is a province in southern Cambodia on the Gulf of Thailand. The province is also known as Kampong Som and as off the 2008 census estimate, the population of Sihanoukville was approximately 200,000 people. Best known as an urban port city, the province has also become a popular tourist beach destination.
