Margaret"s Upside-Down Disney Christmas Tree

106 4
A spectacular tree containing Disney, Warner Bros, Wizard of Oz, Star Wars, Dr. Seuss and Muffy ornaments. The upside-down nature of the tree allows the ornaments to hang a little freer and be much more visible. The tree is eight feet tall and is attached to the ceiling, as well as wired to the wall.

A Disney themed tree is a popular choice, after all who doesn't like Disney. Other ideas might be a specific Disney character, such as all Mickey Mouse or as a friend is doing this year - all Little Mermaid tree.

When on a budget, look for inexpensive smaller Disney ornaments in stores like Target or Walmart. Disney Shopping online always has loads of ornaments, keep an eye out for Disney sales to get a better than retail price.

Upside-Down Christmas Trees:
Although many people will not consider anything but a "traditional" Christmas tree, Collectors are a different breed when it comes to Christmas and decorating. Although upside-down Christmas trees are being touted as the newest and sometimes "strange" thing, they've been around for years and are, in fact, an ancient tradition. It just took a popular retailer like Target to have them online and a few journalists getting crazy about them to create a flurry of news stories. The bottom line is, when you have hundreds of ornaments you look for the best ways to display them and an upside down Christmas tree can show them off better than a traditional tree.
