How Do I Get Security Center to Recognize My Antivirus Software?
- 1). Open the Start Menu and click to load the Control Panel.
- 2). Double click the icon to open the Windows Security Center.
- 3). If you have anti-virus software enabled that Windows does not recognize, click "I have An Antivirus Program That I'll Monitor Myself" or "I Have An Antisypware Program That I'll Monitor Myself." Windows will no longer alert you that your anti-virus software is off.
