How to Do the Steam Vent Game on Steamworks Island
- 1). Click quickly on the metal tiles that cover the board as soon as the mini-game starts. This will uncover the vents and allow you to see what you are working with. The first board has a four-by-four grid and you must connect the entry pipe on the left side of the screen to the exit on the right side.
- 2). Click on a vent tile to pick it up and then click on the location where you want to place it. Once a vent turns red it means it is filled with steam and you can no longer move it.
- 3). Click the lever marked "Finish" situated on the right side of the screen once you have connected the entry and exit points and you will advance to the next board.
- 4). Click on the metal tiles that cover the board to uncover them, but do not try to expose all of them. Instead, focus on a path from the left to the right as this time the board size is six-by-six, giving you more tiles to work with. Only click on more metal tiles if the ones you have already uncovered do not have type of vents you need to connect the entry and exit points.
- 5). Click the "Finish" lever once the entry and exit points are connected before the steam manages to escape. You will be taken to the third and final board of the mini-game which is on an eight-by-eight grid.
- 6). Click on the metal tiles starting from the left side to uncover the vents underneath. Line up the vents so that the steam can travel through them to the exit point on the bottom right side of the board. You have more vents to work with but this also means you have to connect more together and at this point the steam is flowing very quickly, so you have to be quick with your clicking.
- 7). Click the "Finish" lever once you have the entry and exit points connected and the mini-game will be completed. You will now be able to continue with the rest of the island.
