Antalya Korkut Mosque
A mosque with an unusual past, Antalya's Korkut Mosque stands on the grounds of what was originally a 2nd century A.D. Roman temple.
In the 6th century, a large church was erected on the spot after the Roman structure was demolished. It was converted to a mosque in the 12th century and suffered a fire in 1851. Restoration began in 1974 but has not been completed and the mosque is not used.
