How to Dissolve Dried-On Dishwasher Soap
- 1). Add 1 cup white vinegar to the spray bottle.
- 2). Add 2 cups distilled water to the bottle. You can use tap water, but distilled is far cleaner. Shake the bottle after the lid is on to blend the vinegar and water.
- 3). Spray the vinegar and water solution directly on the spots where the dried dishwasher liquid is caked and stuck. Let the solution sit for five minutes.
- 4). Spray a bit of the vinegar water on a rough dish sponge. Do not use a metal scrub sponge.
- 5). Wipe away the dissolving soap with the sponge. Rinse the spot with water.
