The Magic of a Holiday to Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Paris is arguably the most popular Theme Park In Europe for many children - it is the ultimate dream to visit Disneyland and meet their favourite characters.
So for many families a holiday to Euro Disney is a fantastic experience and one I would recommend.
We have been lucky enough to visit on several occasions over the last 15 years and as a family we love it as much now as we ever did the only difference being at 17 my daughter now feels she is too old to dress up Disney style!!! Disneyland Paris has expanded over time and is now made up of two parks and an entertainment area.
You have the main park with the centrepiece of Sleeping Beauty's Castle and the classic rides such as Pirates Of The Caribbean that you can find in other Disney parks around the world (although all have subtle variations) The second and newest park is MGM Studios which gives a fascinating insight into how the films are made and also has some great rides.
We particularly enjoyed the Tower of Terror and also the new Finding Nemo Ride.
The main magic of a trip to Disneyland Paris is that of meeting the popular characters and seeing them in their home environment.
The Parades are spectacular and if you visit during the summer the light parade and fireworks are not to be missed.
My children had great fun finding the characters and getting their autograph book signed and we still fondly remember the time Goofy sat in Anna's buggy and Jack ran away from Captain Hook! If you have never visited a Disney park before and live in Europe I would really recommend that you visit Eurodisney as it is a very friendly place, has all the famous rides and characters and is almost on our doorstep so travelling time can be kept to a minimum.
We also found that when the children were smaller they found the whole experience quite overwhelming and exciting so 3 days was enough for them to cope with.
A holiday of this type further afield can be an expensive and exhausting option especially as children have to be a certain age or size in order to be able to go on the rides.
