It comes to no surprise when I log into my Twitter account everyday and hundreds of 'ads' are posted every second.
I probably find one useful ad (once a month, yes, not kidding) that gives me some value to add to myself, the rest is just advertising.
A couple of people do write back and ask how am doing, which is nice, so I get back at them.
I like meeting people and Twitter is a great place to do so! Posting ads is not going to help you grow your business, that doesn't give people a reason to follow you, what's in it for them? If you are using twitter to grow your business you need to use it the smart way.
I will not get tired of telling people that they need to learn as much as they can so they can share something new everyday with people and add value to their lives, but is also very important that you develop a relationship with these people, and what I mean is to make friends, and grow your network! There's a lot to share with people, share about you, your life, what you like to do, and what not.
Write blogs, share stories of past vacations or experiences, people like that stuff, trust me! Share useful information with your network, they will appreciate it! And get to know them, learn something from them, and they will learn something from you, this is what is all about, sharing ideas and learning from each other.
Get your self out there and brand yourself, get popular!...
if you don't you'd be just one more person in someone's account and forgotten, people will just don't know who you are.
So, remember to share tips, and offer people a reason to come join your network! Be valuable!
