Modern Statue in Dublin, Ireland near Temple Bar
Much of central Dublin dates back to the 18th century (or before). This modern statue is a striking piece of artwork on a busy street near the Temple Bar area.
The Temple Bar district of Dublin is the 17th and 18th century historic docklands area on the left bank of the River Liffey. Today Temple Bar is filled with restaurants and bars, and the district is filled with parties in the evening. We walked through the Temple Bar district in the mid-morning, and the area was almost deserted.
