Rahul Gandhi at Jharkhand, says Modi works from selected industrialists
Chaibasa: Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi launched a blistering attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing a mammoth election rally at poll bound Jharkhand on Friday.
"Our PM had recently come here and had delivered a lecture. He had conveyed his thoughts. I want to tell the difference between his ideology and ours. He wants to take all power in his hands. He wants to run the country according to his wishes and thinks he alone can transform this country. We think just opposite. We want the people of Jharkhand to run this state. We want give the power to the people here, the women, youth, Adivasis. We want people to have power. We want entire people work together and run the country" he said.
"During Lok Sabha poll campaign. Modi Ji had said that he would generate jobs. He never used the word ‘we' but ‘I'... Now Modi is in power. But what he says is ‘take broom in your hands, clean the country and I am going to Australia. I will understand from farmers from Australia and America and will later convey to you what their ideas are". Till then you take brooms and clean the Nation", continued Rahul Gandhi.
"Your PM is the prime minister of just 5-6 industrialists. You also will realise it gradually. You will come to know it when your lands, water and the rich resources here will be taken away and handed over to some industrialists" lamented the Congress leader.
"What the BJP govt at the Centre has been trying to do. They are planning to dilute all our pro-poor policies like MNREGA, Land Acquisition Bill. Yesterday, I had gone to a slum in Delhi where about 900 poor houses were demolished and people evicted forcibly. Are these the good days promised by Modi and BJP?" Rahul Gandhi asked.
"Now, the lands and the money of the people go the hands some industrialists. These industrialists do the marketing of Modi ji and his party but the money spent on these are of the poor people. We do not want such a government. We want a government that works for overall development. We need a government that gives people their rights" further said the Congress Vice President.
"We want to give you round the clock electricity. We want to generate minimum 5 lac jobs for the youth here. We will not give brooms in your hands. We will talk about development. We will work together for the progress of Jharkhand" concluded Rahul Gandhi.

I have come to here to tell you that we would never allow anyone to take even an inch of land from you forcibly. We will be here to fight for you in this regard. We gave you right to food, brought Adivasi Bill, we gave you MSP for food crops and the most important legislation we gave you was Land acquisition law. Now no one can snatch your lands forcibly and without your permission. When rich people sell of their lands they get adequate price but a poor man was not able to get it. Now after the new land bill, every poor people also would get adequate compensation.
