How to Change Your Wallpaper & Screensaver

    Windows

    • 1). Change your desktop wallpaper image by accessing the Control Panel. Click "Start," then "Control Panel," open "Appearance and Personalization," click "Personalization," then "Desktop Background."

    • 2). Select a wallpaper from the list. You can select images from another location by clicking another option on the drop-down menu entitled "Picture Location," or by clicking "Browse" to select a specific image. When you are finished, click "OK" to save your changes.

    • 3). Change your screensaver by returning to the "Personalization" menu, then clicking "Screensaver." Select the screensaver you want to use, and test it by clicking the "Preview" button. When you are satisfied with the settings, click "OK" to save.

    Mac

    • 1). Click the Apple icon in the upper left corner of your screen, then click "System Preferences." Under the "Personal" category, click "Desktop & Screen Saver."

    • 2). Click the "Desktop" tab to select your wallpaper. Select an image folder from the left, then click a thumbnail in the space to the right. If you have a folder of images you want to add, click the "+" icon, browse for your image folder, then click "Choose." The changes take effect instantly, so you don't need to save before quitting.

    • 3). Click the "Screen Saver," then select one of the screensavers from the list on the left. View the preview to the right to see if you like it. If applicable, click the "Options" button to customize it. When you are finished, exit System Preferences, as your changes will be saved.
