In diabetes, managing blood pressure is as crucial as controlling blood sugar level. You can manage your sugar level yourself, here are some points.
Firstly, why is blood pressure is so crucial in case of diabetes? In diabetics, high blood glucose levels harm and narrow blood vessels. Diet is also affected your blood flow in body. A healthy diet is beneficial for individual with diabetes. Refined grains or sugars may increase the symptoms, but you can test it by yourself.

Sugars may show its affect quickly but there are some specific food may not show quickly enough that is diagnosed by self-monitoring.
Exercise is generally beneficial for controlling this, but it may be that some exercises may increase the pressure of blood at least while you are performing them. When the overall effect of exercise is to lower the blood pressure then it's ok but not if it gets high for a long time.
Types of monitors
There are a couple of blood pressure monitors available in the market. Generally all monitors give credible, but some are easier and durable. Buy one that has proper size cuff for your arm.
Get that monitor which is easy to use. Remember that display of the monitor is easy to learn. It must be clear the direction for applying the cuff and use the monitor properly.
Notice your every movement such as watching TV, sitting position, exercise, breathing patterns etc whatever happens in a day, keep to update daily. Then you can lower the signs of this problem by modifying your behavior. You can start meditation, prayer and exercise to lower your blood pressure.
