Myths About Registry Cleaners - What You Should Not Believe

103 6
Registry cleaners are something that are used on your system to find potential errors and corruptions on your system.
They scan the system and help remove the errors automatically for you.
While there are good things that these programs can do, do not believe everything that you read.
Here are some common myths about these applications that you should be aware of.
Myth: All registry cleaners are beneficial to your system.
While you would hope that beneficial software would do something good for your system, not every one of these is good, however.
Some cleaners don't do too much.
They are programs with limited features that do not actually fix major problems on your machine.
They are worthless to use or not.
Others can be viruses in disguise.
These are the ones that you might find in your popups while surfing the internet.
Do not mess with these cleaners as they can hijack your system demanding payment to remove problems found.
Myth: All registry cleaners are the same and pretty much offer the same benefits.
There are poor quality cleaners as well as more full featured ones.
The poor ones do not get rid of the problems you may have and do not offer your system the benefits that are promised.
There are others that have additional features that have nothing to do with your registry like getting rid of private information, cleaning your cache, and fixing other errors on the machine like ActiveX and DLL problems.
Myth: Registry cleaners will fix malware problems on your computer.
Some people do not quite understand the relationship between a cleaner and removing viruses.
These applications are not a replacement for your virus scanner on your system.
You will still need virus protection so do not make this mistake.
Cleaners can get rid of the remnants of viruses that might be left in your registry.
