- 1). Go to MyBannerMaker.com or search "free banner maker."
- 2). Click on the size banner that you want. The standard blog banner is 728 x 90. You can also create your own size by clicking the green "Use Custom Size" button. However, there is a yearly fee for this feature.
- 3). Click on the "Background" tab and choose a top and bottom color to create a gradient for your banner. You can also upload your own background image.
- 4). Click the "Text" tab. You can enter up to four lines of text, as well as use different fonts, colors, and font sizes. You can also adjust the horizontal and vertical positioning of the text by dragging the green box left or right.
- 5). Click the "Border" tab to change the color and thickness of the border.
- 6). Click the "Effects" tab. Choose different effects from the drop-down menu. You can also choose a color and increase or decrease the overlay.
- 7). Click the "Save" tab. Choose the "Download It" radial button, and then click the "Save the Banner" button at the bottom.
- 8). Download the banner to your computer, and then upload it to your blog.
