How to Wire a 12-Pin Trailer Plug
- 1). Connect the yellow wire to terminal one, which operates the left-hand turn signal.
- 2). Connect the black wire to terminal two, which operates the back-up lights.
- 3). Connect one of the two white wires to terminal three, which makes a ground connection.
- 4). Connect the green wire to terminal four, which operates the right-hand turn signal.
- 5). Connect the blue wire to terminal five, which operates the electric brakes.
- 6). Connect the red wire to terminal six, which operates the brake lights.
