Bloom colors range from white to pink and yellow to orange or red. Native azaleas can be difficult to transplant, as their roots are delicate. Evergreen

• Evergreen azaleas tend to be more common, as they are easier to transplant. Evergreen azaleas are native to the areas around Japan and blooms can reach up to 4 inches in size. Flower colors range through white, purple and red. There are no yellow-flowering evergreen azaleas.
