The Itty Bitty Singing Frog
Do you hear that melodic whistle? It's no tropical bird, but rather a tiny tree frog that goes by the name of coquÃ. It gets its name from the high-pitched "ko-kee" sound it produces, which, incidentally, only the male frogs make. These diminutive amphibians are difficult to spot, but they're everywhere in Puerto Rico, and are the island's unofficial mascot.
