- 1). Pour approximately 1 tsp. dish soap and 2 cups of hot water into a dishwasher-safe bowl.
- 2). Dip a sponge with a nylon scrubbing pad into the soapy water and scrub inside the dishwasher. Scrub the entire dishwasher interior and the rack with the soapy water.
- 3). Rinse out the bowl with hot water after cleaning the dishwasher.
- 4). Pour 1 cup of white vinegar into the bowl, and set it on the highest shelf of your dishwasher.
- 5). Turn on the dishwasher and run a short wash cycle. The vinegar will deodorize the dishwasher and remove any bacteria that may be present.
