It's often somewhat confusing to shop for pet bird food as well.
You may think you're getting finch food, but you end up purchasing parakeet food.
While a lot of the pet bird food diets are similar, the size of the food is very important.

There are also finch food treats, like millet spray.
Most millet sprays only have one ingredient, so they are fairly safe as long as you treat it like it's a dessert - for special occasions only.
I hope every finch owner wants to feed their birds the best finch food available, though I know it's difficult sometimes.
Pets aren't just for entertainment, so make a plan to gradually work them into a better diet!
