General Hydroponics and Techniques Involved

101 9
Due to its unprecedented advantages over open field agriculture, Hydroponic is used as technique for farming and has been an instant hit amongst the farmers. Hydroponics is methods of growing plants in water and nutrient solution, without soil. This technique is not a new method of farming. Hydroponics nutrients can be traced back in the history to the Gardens of Babylon and Floating Gardens of China. Depending on the space available general hydroponics can be carried out indoors as well as outdoors.

                                          Genral Hydroponics flow

Let's see at how to work general hydroponics. When we try in soil grow plants, it acts as a shipper for the needed minerals. It is growth Plant roots grip these minerals and water from soil. In general hydroponics, get direct access to nutrients in soil factor is eliminated and plants, due to lack of nutrients or water to never stressing the plants. You can use by supplying inorganic chemical minerals in the nutrient solution to grow you desired plants otherwise you can also make your nutrient solution otherwise purchase nutrient solution made from natural sources.  When use one opt for growing hydroponics plants for organic sources of nutrients, it's called by organic hydroponics. Hydroponics products improve and grow your lights, medium; nutrients, cabinets, etc. are available in many hydroponics stores. In case you are setting up your hydroponics garden, you need based various hydroponics techniques based from various hydroponics systems. Though no single hydroponics technique is the best, most growers prefer any of the following four techniques:

Nutrient film technique (NFT): A submersible pump that pushes the nutrient solution into the grow pipes where plant roots remain suspended in NFT uses a lake. The grow pipe is slightly angled to help by collect nutrient flow solution from the other end. No grow medium is needed. A steady flow of nutrients sideways the pipe and roots grow is maintained into dense mats, with a thin film of nutrients passing over them.

Ebb and Flow: Ebb and flow or ebb and flood (E&F) is a form of hydroponics that is known for its simplicity, reliability of operation and low initial investment cost. this method uses reservoir at regular intervals in the upper tray are planted the plant roots flush. the pump have for about 20-30 minutes. Which allows the nutrient solution to reach a set level and then drained back to the reservoir.

1.            Drip system:  A pump is deep in the nutrient solution and is timer operated. Periodically, it drips the nutrient solution onto the plants' root bases through a channel of tubes and pipes leading to each individual plant.

2.            Aeroponics: Most advanced technique of hydroponics requires no surface for growing plants. Plant roots are suspended in growth chamber that is periodically misted with nutrient spray.

Other general hydroponic techniques that are easy to carry out at home are deep-water culture, grow bag technique, and wick system, etc. Even if you're a home grower or commercial grower, you can grow almost any plant with hydroponics like tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, leafy vegetables, herbs, fruits, and flowering plants. With hydroponics, it is possible to provide optimum growing conditions for plant care growth, and that's why you get much higher, healthier, and nutritious yield.
