- 1). Meet with your spouse in person or over the phone and draw up your divorce agreement, including division of property, land and money. If you have children, include a custody arrangement in the agreement.

- 3). Register with the company you choose and provide it with any information the firm needs, including contact information for you and your spouse. Some online services will have you fill out a questionnaire and generate divorce papers; others will instruct you on filling out all necessary forms.
- 4). Print and sign the generated paperwork. If your spouse lives in another town or state, you will have to mail your spouse the paperwork and wait for it to be returned with signatures.
