    • 1). Gather the wires on the assembled helicopter.

    • 2). Label the wire leads with masking tape so that you will know which servo they connect to.

    • 3). Plan out the route for the wires to travel from the servos to the receiver. Avoid any moving parts of the helicopter.

    • 4). Insulate the wires with braided sleeving if they must be routed by moving parts. You may place more than one wire through the same piece of braided sleeving.

    • 5). Secure the wires along the route to the helicopter frame with zip ties or velco straps.

    • 6). Wind the excess wire into a coil to shorten it. You may use a screwdriver as a guide to wrap the wire around and then slide it off.

    • 7). Plug each wire from the servos into the receiver channels. Each receiver channel is labeled for the servo wire it needs. The labels on the servo wires and the receiver channels should match.

    • 8). Mount the receiver to the receiver plate using double-sided tape.

    • 9). Secure the coiled wires to the helicopter with zip ties or velcro straps. Avoid having any of the coiled wires touch the receiver's antenna.
