Visa Debit Card

• Customers who open a Regions LifeGreen Checking or Regions Preferred Plus Checking account will receive a Regions Platinum Visa CheckCard. Customers who open a Regions PFS Checking account will receive a Regions PFS Platinum Visa CheckCard. Each debit card links directly the customer's checking account. Customers can make unlimited,fee-free purchases anywhere that accepts the VISA logo and make ATM withdrawals. However, customers may have to pay a fee to use another bank's ATM. Customers who have a LifeGreen Checking account can waive the monthly maintenance fee by making a minimum of 15 debit card purchases a month, according to Regions.
  
  

Personalized Debit Card

• Customers can create their own Visa debit card for any type of checking account using the Region's YourPix studio. The YourPix Studio allows customers to upload either a personal photo or their company logo. The photo or logo will appear as the main image on the front of the card. Customers can change the design of their card whenever they wish. However, according to Regions, as of 2011, it costs $10 for each debit card personalized through the YourPix Studio.
  
  

Security

• Everyone Regions debit card comes with SafeGuard. SafeGuard includes multiple levels of security to protect customer accounts. The three-digit security code listed on the back of each debit card lets customers shop safely online or over the phone. Customers can also use the additional Visa password protection, which requires a separate authentication when shopping online. Regions offers 'round-the-clock monitoring of debit card activity. All customers have worry-free fraud protection. If a customer has his card stolen, he will not have to pay for any unauthorized charges.
  
  

Benefits

• Debit card users can enroll in the Regions Relationship Rewards Program. This program allows customers to earn points on every purchase they make as credit with their debit card. Customers can cash in the points for gift certificates to popular retail stores or purchase merchandise through the Relationship Rewards Program. Regions also offers discounts on different online merchants throughout the year.
