- 1). Restart your computer. Press "F8" repeatedly before Windows resumes. This launches the Advanced Boot Options menu. Select "Safe Mode" and press "Enter" to launch your computer in Safe Mode.
- 2). Launch the task manager by pressing "Ctrl," "Shift," and "Esc" together. Click the "Processes" tab. Scroll down, click each of the following processes individually and click "End Process" after each:

Uninstall Antivirus.lnk - 3). Launch the Windows "Search" tool by clicking the Windows "Start" menu and clicking "Search." Select "All" in the file types section, and select the "C:" drive in the "Location" box. Search for the following files:

Once Windows locates them, right-click the files and click "Delete." Empty the recycle bin. - 4). Click the Windows "Start" menu, type "regedit" (without quotes) in the "Start Search" box and press "Enter" to launch the registry.
- 5). Click the "Edit" menu on the top and click "Find" to launch the search tool. Search for the following entries:
