      The Edelweiss restaurant is located in an area so rural, it doesn't have a traditional address and it is advised to call ahead for specific directions to it's route 940 location. This only adds to the charm and atmosphere of the elegant Black Forest theme created by German interior designer, Carl Rieger. On the edge of the a scenic bear inhabited forest, The Edelweiss offers menu specialties such as sauteed kangaroo medallions, fillet of ostrich, and braised pork shank in porcini demi Glace with herb mashed potatoes, as well as traditional German favorites like German pork chops, Imperial beef stroganoff and bratwurst or knackwurst served with German potato salad.

      Dunderbak's Market Cafe is a casual eatery with a light and airy decor, wooden tables, chairs, exposed beams supporting a fabric canopy ceiling and plant-lined bare windows. The American-European menu has items for every taste including German favorites like bratwurst, knackwurst, kielbasa, potato pancakes, pierogi and sauerkraut, as well as traditional American favorites like cheeseburgers, sub sandwiches, salads and mac and cheese. Dunderbak's also has an extensive imported beer list with beers and ales from Germany, Poland, Austria, Holland, Scotland, Ireland and the Czech Republic.

    Guard House Inn‎

      The Guard House Inn has a long colorful history. Built in the 1790s, the restaurant was originally a tavern and changed hands numerous time over the centuries. Current owner, Albert Breuers, took ownership in 1978 and has since then incorporated a German-continental touch into the previous American menu. Some of the Guard House Inn menu items are smoked trout with horseradish sauce and marbled bread, goat cheese brûlée, snails in garlic butter, and buffalo sweet breads.
