How to Troubleshoot Age of Mythology
- 1). Check your system requirements. Click "Start," "Control Panel" and choose "System." All of the information here needs to meet or surpass the requirements listed on the side of the "Age of Mythology" package. If you don't your video game is going to play slowly and possibly crash.
- 2). Update your game if the video or audio is dropping out or the video is progressing slowly even if your computer matches all the system requirements. Load "Age of Mythology," click "Help and Tools," then select "Update Game." The program will connect to the Microsoft server and downloads any updates available. Once complete the software will automatically install the patches to the system.
- 3). Restart the computer if the game unexpectedly crashes. This is due to a start-up issue with the Windows computer, so once you reboot the system, the Age of Mythology game corrects the software start-up issue.
- 4). Create only one user account when launching the online "Age of Mythology" option. If you attempt to create a second account, the game crashes. In order to create a second account you must purchase a second copy of "Age of Mythology."
