HomePort - Racy, Exciting, and Sheer Book Pleasure
Nora Roberts is a name synonymous with hot fiction, and there is hardly a fiction book lover that hasn't experienced the pleasure of her books (if you haven't, you just have to!).
My experience with Nora Robert books began late in life, and has been one of my best book encounters till date.
You cannot just put her book down for another day; you are just compelled to finish it in one sitting.
And the amazing thing is Nora Roberts delivers this rare experience with every book! Drama, intrigue, and emotion, infused with a healthy sense of humour, wit, and creativity, you can't just get enough of her books.
You are just absorbed into the scenes, and you can feel the characters close to you.
Her heroes are human and love their woman utterly, which makes them irresistible.
Her heroines are strong women, yet vulnerable, which makes them all the more interesting and lovable.
A strong sense of family and traditions radiates from each of her plots, which is wonderful.
HomePort by Nora Roberts was one of my recent reads, which was an absolute bliss.
If I were to list my spiritual moments in life, I would certainly include the time I spent reading this book.
All through the reading, I was just unaware of the surroundings, and couldn't just pull myself off the book when I was required to.
Oh, the power of a good book! The heroine, Dr.
Miranda Jones, a brilliant archaeometrist, is shattered when an art piece she has authenticated turns a fake.
Her reputation is in tatters, and her life, more so.
Enter the hero, Ryan Boldari, a charming and brilliant art thief, who gets closer to Miranda for his own selfish ends, and much to the delight of the readers they end up united for a single goal, albeit varied intentions.
Equally irresistible is The Dark Lady.
The emotions are raw, and the suspense gripping.
A wonderful read.
