- 1). Make sure your computer is turned off and plug the VGA cable into the S port on the side of your Gateway. The S port has three short rows of holes for the pins of the cable to fit into.
- 2). Connect each of the colored plugs at the opposite end of the cable into the corresponding jacks on the back or sides of your projection TV.
- 3). Turn your computer on and switch your TV's input to Video 2 using your remote control.
- 4). Open your Display Settings in Settings on your Gateway. Select the option for connecting to an external display. This will format the images from your laptop for display on your projection TV.
