Whatever you think it is, it is only a quality that you possess, it still doesn't determine your worth.
A quality is defined as "the essential character, nature, or distinguishing attribute of a thing.
" Everyone has desirable qualities or attributes, but does that help one to feel worthy or have self worth, not at all.
What makes understanding your worth so difficult? Why do women try so hard to please others and conform to what society deems worthy? Why do you need validation from another human being? The answers to these questions go all the way back to the beginning of man.
The enemy created a market of self doubt and unworthiness by telling Eve that she needed more and she was not enough.
She could be worth more if she ate the apple.
Just look at Genesis 3:2-6 (NIV), the serpent told her that her eyes would be opened and she would be like God.
Eve looking at the fruit noticed it was not only pleasing to the eye but it would give her wisdom (which she learned she was lacking).
Up until this point, she never questioned herself, never knew or felt like she lacked anything.
The moment you come into this world, you are being told you are not enough.
People say, "Oh, she is so small, or she is so big, oh she doesn't sleep enough, etc".
You are being told you are not enough.
Seeds are being planted as you are told, "You need to be a better student, a better friend, a better sibling, like Suzy, and all adding up to..

And as the years go by and the seeds (words) are planted, you start to believe that you are not enough.
As women, we look for validation.
Ever notice how much a compliment can change the way you feel about yourself? That too is a seed.
They say, "you are so smart, you are so beautiful, your hair is gorgeous, etc," and we start to spend more time trying to keep these things up because in our subconscious, that's what determines our worth, that's what makes us special.

right? WRONG! What happens when all of those attributes disappear? What do you have left? Now where is your worth? It's time to get real and dig deep.
There is not a person on this earth who knows your true worth! Heck, you don't even know it because if you did, you would set a higher standard for yourself, you would treat yourself like the queen you are.
You would not allow mess in your space or your temple.
Only the one who created you knows your true worth.
This world might try to tell you your market value but honey you need to know your worth! The Creator said in Romans 5:7-8 that you were worth more than life! "For while you were yet sinners, Christ died for you.
" So while you were as the world says, "worthless", God saw worth in you and gave his life for you.
Who cares what other people say you are worth? God paid the ultimate price for you.
Psalms 139:14 says, you were "fearfully and wonderfully made", Proverbs 8 says you are "more precious than rubies and nothing desired can compare to her.
" How many times must he tell you your worth before you start to understand that there is nothing on the planet more precious than YOU.

God said even though he created you, he would still pay the price and give his life for you.
