How to Incorporate Zebra & Giraffe in a Bedroom
- 1). Choose a wallpaper with a giraffe or zebra pattern. If you do not want to redo the walls, you can use stencils to create a giraffe- or zebra-patterned border along the top of the walls.
- 2). Decorate the room with photos of giraffes and zebras and artwork featuring a jungle theme. Use a collage frame to display a bunch of photographs at once, and add an electronic picture frame to create a constant slide show of jungle scenes.
- 3). Place a long-necked giraffe piggy bank in one corner of the room. That big bank may encourage your son or daughter to save money by feeding coins into the mouth and watching the "belly" fill up with money.
- 4). Paint the furniture in the room with a giraffe and zebra motif or other jungle design. Look for accessories that go well with your jungle-themed room.
- 5). Cover the chairs and seating areas with giraffe-spotted and zebra-striped throws and pillows.
- 6). Replace the existing bedding with blankets, comforters, pillow cases and sheets with zebra stripes or giraffe spots. Accent the bed with colorful jungle-themed throw pillows.
- 7). Add a lamp with a giraffe or zebra print lampshade to the room. You can also incorporate a black and white striped pole lamp into the room.
- 8). Finish the room with a giraffe or zebra print rug. Choose a rug that is easy to clean and that coordinates well with the rest of the room decor.
