- 1). Locate the file you plan to upload on your hard drive or external data storage device.
- 2). Right-click on the file and wait for the menu of options to appear. Hover your mouse over the "Send-To" option and select "Compressed Folder."
- 3). Allow the new compressed file to be created. It will be stored in the same folder as your original file.
- 4). Connect to your Internet hosting service and upload the compressed folder as if it were any other file. The amount of time required for the upload will be severely reduced.
