Dart Board Set Up Instructions
- 1). Choose a suitable location in your house to hang the dartboard, such as on the front of a door or on a wall. To prevent injuries, make sure that it is not in a busy area and has plenty of open space.
- 2). Measure accurately 5 feet 8 inches from the floor up the wall, using a tape measure. Mark the spot firmly with a pencil. This is the official height of the bull's-eye.

Hold the dartboard so that the bull's-eye lies precisely level with the pencil mark. The clip on the back of the some dart boards is already aligned with the bull's-eye. If your dartboard's hook is at the top, measure the distance from the hook to the bull's-eye. - 4). Carefully hammer a nail into the wall at the pencil mark.
- 5). Measure 7 feet 9 ¼ inches from the face of the dart board, using a tape measure. Mark the throw line there on the floor using tape. This is the standard distance to the board, but if you are a beginner, you may want to throw from a shorter distance at first before progressing to the correct distance.
- 6). Install lighting around your dartboard to increase visibility of the board when playing in the dark. In addition to the room light, mount bulbs on the ceiling that shine on the top and bottom of the board.
