• Natural resources are listed in various sub-sectors. The key sectors are mining, energy, timber and forest products and agricultural commodities. Each sector has components made up of major companies and junior companies listed on both TSX and TSXV exchanges.
  
  

Mutual Funds and Exchange Traded Funds

• Resource stocks can be purchased through mutual funds and exchange traded funds. Mutual funds carry many of the larger resource stocks as part of a broad Canadian portfolio as well as offer sector specific mutual funds made up of a basket of companies. Similarly, exchange traded funds, which trade like stocks, have resource stock components enabling the ownership and trading of a broad range of resource stocks at once.
