The redness, coupled with the pain and irritation of having pimples is a recipe for a bad day.
If you can reduce their irritation and allow them to go away on your own, rather than popping zits, your skin will be much healthier and less prone to acne scars.
This article offers a few tips on how to reduce pimple redness with natural methods and things that you probably already have laying around your house.
The first and easiest method to reduce the redness of pimples is a two-step technique.
First, start pounding water to flush out the toxins that are in your body and causing the pimple in the first place.
If you can drink at least a half gallon of water that day, your pimple will begin to go away.
The second step is to put ice on the zit.
If the pimple is already well formed, this is probably going to hurt a bit, but the ice will reduce the swelling and allow the pore to open up to release some of the pressure that's inside of it.
Another home remedy that is very easy is to put a dab of honey on the pimple and allow it to set for 2-3 hours.
I can't tell you why this works, but I can say that it works very well for me! Don't go work out in the garden or anything while you have honey on your face, or you run the risk of having a bee feast on your face.
After you feel the swelling subside, rinse the honey off and wash your face.
You should be able to see a noticeable difference in the size and redness of your pimple.
