How to Make a PVC Rack For Plywood

    • 1). Measure a length of PVC pipe to 16 inches with the tape measure. Make a mark on the PVC with a felt tip marker and cut it to this length with a hacksaw. Repeat this step to cut another 16-inch piece of PVC.

    • 2). Sand the cut edges of the PVC smooth with the file or use sandpaper.

    • 3). Measure and cut four lengths of PVC pipe to 3 feet and sand the cut edges smooth.

    • 4). Apply PVC primer to each end of the 16-inch pieces of PVC and the inside of two 90-degree elbows. Apply the PVC glue over the PVC primer.

    • 5). Insert the 90-degree elbows onto the ends of the 16-inch pieces. Hold each piece in place for at least 30 seconds to allow the glue to set up. The open end of the 90 degree elbow needs to face upwards.

    • 6). Apply PVC primer and glue to one end of the 3-foot pieces of PVC. Insert the PVC piping into the 90-degree elbows.

    • 7). Apply PVC primer and glue to the opposite end of the 3-foot pieces of PVC. Repeat this step with four 90-degree elbows. Insert the 90-degree elbows over the end of the PVC pipe. The top elbow needs to be positioned 90 degrees from the bottom elbow.

    • 8). Measure and cut two pieces of PVC to 6 feet. Apply PVC primer and glue to the ends of the PVC pipe and the inside of the 90-degree elbows.

    • 9). Insert the ends of the PVC pipe into the 90-degree elbows.
